We just called Rio Electric again because we have a fan light that kept going on and off and, instead of charging us for a service call, Ryan helped me with the problem over the phone. He could have easily made some money by coming to our house but was honest and accommodating instead. He is ethical, competent, and just plain nice. That's why he's our electrician. We recommend him to everyone.

Great service by this company, highly recommended with competitive prices. I was comparing prices around town for getting my two new motion sensor lights installed in our backyard. Rio Electric was my choice, and I'm glad we went with them. Ryan and his associate came out on time and did the deed. Work was done within the home walls, attic and backyard. Ryan responded to our 'emergency' quickly and diagnosed our fire detector/co2 issues immediately. He is personable, funny, and extremely competent. We needed an additional outlet put outside for Christmas lights. Ryan quoted me a price over the phone that was very reasonable. Danny and Beto showed up the following day and completed the job quickly. That night, the GFI popped and our lights wouldn't turn on. Ryan came over the next day and fixed it and told me what to look for if it did it again. He was very knowledgable. That night when it happened again, I went through everything Ryan told me and found that our neighbor's sprinklers was causing it to trip. They turned them off and our Christmas lights were perfect the rest of the month. I would highly recommend Rio. Very professional and trustworthy.Date of Review: 07 January 2016

Called Ryan, and he gave me pricing up front, didn't try to rip me off. He also gave me a second line of communication just in case, and he showed up and did the work fast, plus I like that he is a local business. I needed a check up and proper install on some outlets outdoors, plus he stayed to make sure that the appliances that were going to be hooked up actually turned on, rather than just leaving. I needed a ceiling fan installed in my living room so I called various handymen and electricians. Rio Electric offered a very competitive price and was prompt in their scheduling. Ryan and his crew came on time as well as installed my fan promptly and professionally. After the installation, Ryan and his team made sure to tidy up their work area. Ryan did a great job helping us with outlets in our home. So much so that he then helped my husband with some electrical issues at his business.
